My dad, who got me intersted in Golf has a £1000 set of clubs with every club imainable, don't know how he lugs it around but going by your list i might be able to get the advantage over him if im carrying less he's bound to be more tired than me on the back 9, oh and he is 65! I picked up a left handed driver, walked up like I knew what I was doing and destroyed the ball. That ball went 250+ yards and since then I havn't picked up a right handed driver. Tips and suggestions are help but you still got to be the one walking. A little self experimentation never hurt. Sometimes we surprise ourself, I did. One additional point is that for the beginner choosing the latest and greatest Graphite Clubs may not be the best choice.
